Blizzard has given Overwatch 2 fans a look at some of the cosmetics that are coming to the hero shooter as part of Season 15 and beyond. Overwatch 2 adds a fresh batch of cosmetics every season, ensuring fans constantly have something new to outfit their characters with. Some Overwatch 2 cosmetics are earned by completing the battle pass, while others can be snagged by purchasing them from the store. Others still are unlocked through in-game challenges and special events.
The most elaborate Overwatch 2 cosmetics come in the form of the Mythic skins that give heroes and weapons radical makeovers. New Mythic skins are added to Overwatch 2 every season, and the same holds true for the upcoming Season 15, which will see the debut of a brand-new Mythic skin for Support hero Zenyat
Overwatch 2 season 17’s battle pass and new Mythic skins
Season 17 of Overwatch 2 will include a fresh batch of skins and other cosmetics to acquire through the game’s premium battle pass, including new 8-bit-themed versions of Genji, Sombra, and Reinhardt; and new Overwatch Academy skins for Junkrat and Cassidy.
For the first time, the newest season of Overwatch 2 will launch with two Mythic skins: one character skin for D.Va, and a weapon skin for Reaper that is… well, extremely extreme.
Here’s a closer look at the new cosmetics coming to Overwatch 2 in season 17.
Season 17 Premium and Ultimate Battle Pass skins
8-bit-inspired skins for Genji, Sombra, and Reinhardt will be available alongside Sakura Ana (not pictured), Delinquent Cole Cassidy, and Professor Fawkes Junkrat. The game’s ultimate battle pass also includes Principal Lacroix Widowmaker — a big upsell for Widowmaker fans — and Professor de Kuiper Sigma.
Season 17 shop skins
Overwatch 2’s in-game shop will feature 8-bit versions of Venture and Reaper; Overwatch Academy versions of Juno, Kiriko, and Soldier: 76; and Sakura versions of Life
Overwatch 2 Season 18 release date, mythic skin, and roadmap so far
Overwatch 2's been on a huge winning streak lately, and that's not looking to stop with Season 18. The highlights of the soon-to-arrive update include the debut of a new support hero, Wuyang, and big changes to the already incredible Stadium mode.
Of course, we'll also be getting the usual bells and whistles that come with a new season, including a new battle pass, a mythic skin for one lucky hero, several events, and a batch of shop bundles. Below, I'll cover everything we know so far about Overwatch Season 18 so you're up to speed.
Overwatch 2 Season 18 release date
Overwatch 2 Season 18 releases on Tuesday, August 26th at 11 am PT / 7 pm BST, which coincides with the end of Season 17, so make sure you finish your battle pass before it expires.

I’m willing to bet that the next season’s mythic skin will either be Sombra or soldier. Cuz it’s definitely not going to be junkrat, junk won’t recieve a mythic until the year 2044.

It’s going to be whichever hero they think will sell the most battle passes. Maybe they carry out a tank for Season 10 so they can release Beach Torb for Season 11.

nah. They keep the good skins for direct purchase and put all the unpopular heroes in the BP since is cheapest to buy.

We’re talking the biggest Stadium evolution yet, a brand-new aquatic Support Hero, a full PvP refresh with Perks update, two unique Mythic skins, and more. Then Summer Games bring the heat with third-person POV Lucio Ball, and we’ve got even more in store, so let’s ride the wave!
Stadium Report
Stadium is continuing to level up with Hero additions, all-new ways and places to play, fresh features, and a beefed-up Item pool!
Shake up your team comps as Winston, Brigitte, Pharah, and (later this season) Tracer join the Stadium Hero rotation. Quick Play Queue speeds up the action with a faster, lighter version of Stadium, bringing shorter matches, a rapid-fire economy, and Backfill & Cross Play support. Draft Mode works like your pre-game huddle, letting you counter-pick and outthink the other team before the first shots are fired.
Then push parallel payloads through checkpoints and fight to the finish line in the new Payload Race mode. But there will be no checkpoint wins here; you’ve got to take it all the way. Add in the Powder Keg Mine, Thames District, and Oasis Gardens new maps, an expanded Item pool (3 new items, 10
