Everything to Know About Pixar’s Fresh Series ‘Win or Lose’: Discharge Schedule, How to Watch

After a handful of delays, Pixar’s new TV show is finally here!

Win or Lose is an eight-episode animated series that follows members of a co-ed softball team, the Pickles, in the week leading up to a big championship game.

Each episode will follow that alike week through the perspective of a different character, among them teammates, parents, teachers, and coaches.

Pixar fans won’t want to miss this new series, which airs two new episodes weekly on Disney+.

Win or Lose Free Date: When Does Win or Lose Come Out?

Win or Lose premiered on Wednesday, Feb. 19. Two episodes will let go on Disney+ every Wednesday through March 12.

In their thirty years of feature films, Pixar Animation Studios has been known for their innovative and imaginative storytelling. Now they’ve adapted that to a serialized format in Win or Lose, the new Disney Plus streaming series from co-creators, co-directors and co-writers Carrie Hobson and Michael Yates.

It’s an ambitious gambit from the studio, who are experimenting with episodic, long-form storytelling for the first time (although shifting release dates means that the Inside Out spinoff series Dream Productions technically came out first).

In Win or Lose, we focus on a middle school softball team called the Pickles. The whole thing is set in the week leading up to their big game. The twist is that each of the eight episodes are told from the perspective of a different character.

The grand vision for the series starts to emerge across the first four episodes, which were provided for review. This Rashomon-like approach allows the series to explore the same events from multiple angles, while going deeper into the lives of different characters and what they are individually going through in the lead up to the championship. This year, Pixar will be releasing its first-ever original series on Disney+, “Win Or Lose.” The series features the intertwined stories of eight different characters as they each prepare for their big championship softball game—the insecure kids, their helicopter parents, and even a lovesick umpire. “Win or Lose” features the voices of Will Forte, Rosie Foss, Josh Thomson, Milan Elizabeth Ray, Rosa Salazar, Dorien Watson, Izaac Wang, Chanel Stewart, Lil Re​l Howery, Melissa Villaseñor, Jo Firestone, Flula Borg, Kyleigh Curran, ​Jaylin Fletcher, Erin Keif, Tom Law, Beck Nolan, Orion Tran and Rhea Seehorn. The series, which presents incredibly funny, very emotional and uniquely animated perspectives, is produced by David Lally, includes music by composer Ramin Djawadi and original songs by CAMPFIRE and Djawadi.
