THIS IS A BINDING CONTRACT. YOUR CONTINUED PARTICIPATION AS AN ENTRANT, COMPETITOR, VOTER, OR WINNER IN THE COMPETITION (AS DEFINED BELOW), IN ANY MANNER, SIGNIFIES YOUR ACCEPTANCE AND AGREEMENT TO THESE RULES, THE TERMS OF USE, AND THE PRIVACY POLICY, IN WHATEVER FORM THEY MAY CURRENTLY EXIST. AS SUCH, PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT IN ITS ENTIRETY.
THESE RULES GOVERN WHAT CLAIMS YOU CAN BRING, WHAT DAMAGES YOU CAN CLAIM, AND HOW DISPUTES BETWEEN YOU AND THE COMPETITION ENTITIES (DEFINED BELOW) RELATING TO YOUR PARTICIPATION AS AN ENTRANT, COMPETITOR, VOTER, OR WINNER (COLLECTIVELY, A “PARTICIPANT”) IN THE COMPETITION WILL BE RESOLVED. An artist from Queens, New York, who goes by the stage name Rah Thee Designa, is participating in America’s Next Top Hitmaker this year.
The competition, hosted by Colossal, will name one winner to receive $50,000, an appearance in Rolling Stone, and a chance to perform at the 2025 Global Festival.
This year’s competition is raising money for Global Citizen, a nonprofit working to end extreme poverty.
The competition is currently in the Top Ten round, where the ten highest-voted contestants from different groups will advance to the next stage.

“I’m gonna do music regardless—whether I win or lose. This competition right here made me realize that I still have fans out there and people that like my music, my content, and it just makes me want to go harder," said Rah Thee Designa.
Houghton band reaches Top 10 on America’s Next Top Hitmaker

Mr. Cesar & The Lucha Tones, a Houghton-based surf rock band, have reached the Top 10 in a competition with America’s Next Highest Hitmaker. The winner of the competition will receive $10,000, a feature in Rolling Stone magazine, and the opportunity to carry out at Rolling Stone’s Future of Music showcase in Texas.
The Lucha Tones have beat out thousands of other acts to contact the Top 10, and they hope to continue to increase in the competition. As of 4 p.m. Friday, they were second in their group. The band is described as a “high energy experience” that includes, “melding elements of surf rock with latin flavors that anyone can enjoy.”
“You can vote once every 24 hours, and you can also donate votes, and all of the donations are tax-deductible, and they go for a good cause for charity,” Cesar Solorzano said in an interview with TV6 News. Solorza
