Date Announced for First EuroMillions Superdraw of 2025
The date has been set for the first EuroMillions Superdraw of 2025, when the jackpot is guaranteed to be raised to more than £100 million.
The nine participating national lotteries come together to decide when these special events take place - there are usually four every year - and the next one on the schedule will happen on Friday 7th March.
For this Superdraw, the jackpot will be €130 million, which equates to around £110 million. EuroMillions jackpots are always set in Euros as this is the currency of most of the participating countries, and then it is converted into pounds sterling on the day of the draw.
The nine-figure jackpot is guaranteed, even if there is a winner in the preceding draw, as the money for Superdraws comes from a Reserve Fund. This means that you know in advance when a huge prize is going to be up for grabs, without having to wait for a run of rollovers.

Another EuroMillions Superdraw has been confirmed for early summer, providing the opportunity to land a jackpot of €130 million.
When is the Superdraw?
The Superdraw - or Megadraw - will take place on Friday 6th June. If the jackpot happens to be higher already at the time of the draw, it will effectively be postponed and it will instead go ahead a bit later in the year.
If the jackpot is lower, money will be taken from the Reserve Fund to top it up to €130 million. Even if there is a winner in the preceding draw, the amount for the Superdraw is guaranteed.
The Superdraw jackpot can roll over if nobody wins, right up to a maximum of €250 million. That is exactly what happened in the most recent draw in March - it carried on climbing until a player from Austria won at the game’s cap to set a new record.
Big Winners in Ireland
Ireland has not had a jackpot winner since February 2022, so players all over the country will be waiting for the luck to turn and for someone from the Emerald Isle to land a multimillion-euro sum.
