Professor Hoffman is the Law Foundation Professor at the University of Houston Law Center. An expert on procedural law in federal and state courts, he is a highly prolific scholar whose work has appeared in the leading law reviews in the country and been highly influential with commentators, lawyers and courts, including the United States Supreme Court.
In the classroom he is an acclaimed and dedicated teacher. One of several teaching awards he has won put it this way: "Professor Lonny Hoffman embodies all the qualities of a great educator. Next Time On Lonny is a comedy series on YouTube that parodies the Reality Show genre. The eponymous character in the Show Within a ShowLonny is "a flavorless twenty-something... [meandering] through his hipster existence desperately trying to meet girls." But On the NextLonny, "things get interesting... very interesting."

- Binge Montage: Lonny and Eddy do a lot of drugs in "Lonny Goes Big Time," including cocaine, marijuana, and human souls.
