American actor Anthony Mackie, who takes on the role of Captain America in Marvel Studios' highly anticipated Captain America: Brave New World, wants to recruit Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the next Avenger. He praised the Indian actor, calling him "the damn best".
During an interview with influencer Kevin Zingkhai, Mackie was asked which Bollywood actor he would pick as the next Avenger. “I think Shah Rukh Khan, he’s the damn best!” Mackie said instantly.

Shah Rukh Khan has long been a Marvel favourite. In Deadpool 2, Deadpool and Dopinder were seen listening to a song from SRK's Swades. In 2018, Stephen Wacker, then Vice President of Creative Development at Marvel, also expressed his desire to cast Shah Rukh in a Marvel film.
