Welcome to the RAM Family
Step 1: Look for your asu email account
ASU Email is the University’s email system, and all official ASU correspondence will be sent to this account going forward. You will receive an email within 48 hours of receiving your Admission Acceptance from ASUITS@asurams.edu titled, “ASU Account Information – Please Keep” sent to the email address you provided on your application for admission. This email will include information on changing your password information.
If you haven’t received the ASU IT account email in your inbox, please look in your spam folder. Contact the ASU Help Desk at 229.500.HELP(4357) if you do not receive the email.
Network Password
To establish your network password, please visit https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com. On this page, enter your full student email address (as shown in your letter) and the characters shown in the verification box. On the following page, you will be asked where to receive a passcode. Newly Accepted Students
Welcome, New Golden Rams! Congratulations on your acceptance to Albany State University! The first step in making your experience at ASU a rewarding one is to participate in the New Student Orientation Program (NSOP), a mandatory program for all incoming students and transfers to assist with your transition to ASU. You will learn important information about the university and all services we provide to promote your academic success, including Academic Advising, Career Services, Financial Aid, Student Activities, and Housing. (Please confirm your acceptance before registering for Orientation. The Orientation fee is non-refundable). We also offer Parent Orientation which gives families of incoming students an opportunity to interact with campus administrators and receive vital information to support their New Rams toward success.

In less than 20 minutes, you can enroll in our life-changing Catholic Studies courses. If you have any questions, please reach out to us directly.
First: Submit the Mary College Application
- Click the "Apply Now" button above.
- Select “first-time user” and start a new undergraduate application for the correct term.
- On the “Program Information” page, select “Mary College at ASU” under “Where would you like to learn?”
- When asked, “What type of Mary College student are you?” consider the following:
- “Incoming ASU Freshman” is for those who will enroll at Mary College during their first semester of their freshman year of college at ASU.
- “Current ASU Student” is for students who have completed at least one semester at ASU and for new transfer students.
- “No Affiliation with ASU Currently” is for students who want to enroll at Mary College while not enrolled at ASU.
Second: Submit the Global Studies Application
All ASU students must submit an application through the Global Studies Office, which gives them access to our unique domestic exchange program. ASU uses the following application to ensure that you are a full-time student with a 2.0 GPA or higher, which

1. Financial Aid: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) no later than April 1 to receive the maximum state and federal award. (Enter school code: 001005.)
2. Housing: Complete the housing application and pay a $250 non-refundable room deposit no later than June 30. (If you are disabled and require accommodations, you must complete this information and notify housing no later than May 31.)
3. Orientation: Sign up for orientation. At orientation, you will register for classes, get your student ID card, sign up for parking and more.
4. Health Care: Have your doctor complete the University Medical Examination Report (.pdf) and mail them to:
