Join us this summer for a safe, fun, fast paced, and competitive flag football camp at the beautiful Iona Prep in New Rochelle, NY. Campers will participate in age appropriate skills and drills, position specific training, competitive (non-contact) full-field scrimmages, record breaking games, and other daily football contests. First down is powered by Westchester’s leading youth sports providers, Next Level Camps and Backyard Sports. Each session will be led by experienced local flag football coaches and teachers with 10+ years of experience coaching/teaching at all youth levels.

All campers will receive equal playing time for daily scrimmages, with a focus on maximum engagement and fun! Campers will also gain an understanding of the game and develop key skills throughout the week with our expert coaches and counselors. All skill levels are welcome!

  Summer

  Next Level Day Camp for Boys is a unique opportunity that allows campers to pick their activities and allows our parents the flexibility they want in the summer. Our sessions allow for full, half-day, or even flex passes (come on days that work for you) enrollment, for one or more consecutive or non-consecutive weeks from late June to early August.
  

  Next Level Day Camp is the perfect mix of skill-based individual and team sports, STEM, Arts, and unique electives such as magic, cooking, DJ, Fencing, GaGa, Rugby, Drumming, and much more.

  Because it is elective-based scheduling, the kids choose their schedules. No two days are alike! If it's sports they love, they can do it all day, every day. Or if they want a variety, then it's theirs to choose. Additionally, they have events like color war and the Olympics so the kids truly get the AMAZING experience of a traditional camp.

  Next Level Day Camp for Girls is a skill-based elective camp that offers specialized instruction in a variety of options in sports, arts, enrichment and unique activities.

  Our elective based program allows campers to choose what they want to do and when they want to do it! Allowing campers to choose their own activities they feel empowered, build confidence, and discover hidden talents.

  NO Two Next Level days are the same. Campers create their schedule on a daily basis.
  
  For each activity period, girls get to choose from a variety of options – a mix of Core, Non Traditional Sports (i.e. gaga, rugby, ultimate frisbee, etc), STEM Activities, Arts, and Unique Activities (such as DJ, Magic, Cooking, and much more).

  Next Level Day Camp for Girls offers 6 weeks of day camp on the beautiful campus of The Ursuline School in Westchester, NY.

  About

  Ed Metzendorf, founder and director of Next Level Camp for Girls and Next Level Camp for Boys, is admittedly a camp geek who spent many memorable summers as a camper and counselor before spending three years as a director at Westcoast Connection, where he created the sports and travel division.

  In 2000, he caught the start-up wave with Bunk1.com, a summer camp technology company that he developed with other former campers to help camp directors with registration, administration, communication and back-office issues. While at Bunk1.com, Ed visited more than 200 camps across North America and was a frequent lecturer at camp conferences. Ed is on the Board of The Summer Camp and very involved in Camp Champions which both give kids from less fortunate environments the opportunity to enjoy a summer camp experience.

  Ed was a 2-time Captain of his College Tennis team and currently coaches the Sportsman College Tennis Teams

  Additionally, he is very involved in both the Mamaroneck Soccer and Basketball Leagues.
